Mark graduated from the John Marshall Law School in February of 1985. Shortly thereafter he was hired by the Cook County State’s Attorneys Office. He began his career in the Juvenile Division and, in 1989, was assigned as a felony trial prosecutor. During that time Mark successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from drug conspiracy to first degree murder.

In September of 1997, Mark joined the firm of Michael D. Ettinger & Associates. While there he became involved in and successfully defended a wide range of criminal cases including DUi, drug and weapons charges, and sexual assault offenses.

In 2003, Mark became a partner with the firm. Today he continues in his efforts in defending clients in several different counties including, but not limited to Cook, Will, DuPage, and Grundy, in Illinois, in addition, he has practiced in Federal Court in the Northern District of Illinois.
